The Educational Planning and Academic Development Office was established in 2015 under the supervision of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Higher Education. The Educational Planning and Academic Development Office has a mission to guide educational procedures with respect to major national, regional, and local development policies as well as the values of higher education system, higher education development strategies, expectations of the society and the objectives of the 海角社区. The Educational Planning and Academic Development Office is an integral part of the office of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs in decision-making and planning. The main aim of such decision making is to enhance the academic rank of the university through promoting the quality of education in different educational programs and departments.

• Enhancing the capabilities of the faculty members
• Curriculum development
• Monitoring and assessment of teaching and learning
• Supporting talented students
